Help answer the question aboutHosting tutorial
How can I sell my video tutorials online with the least amount of piracy?I am the owner of my own website and I have an FTP and hosting space to upload the tutorial video .zip. I am wanting my customers to pay $10 for the video folder and receive the download link after their payment is received. However, I am worried about the link being shared or the videos being copied or sent to one another. Is there anyway I can prevent this?

You can do it with Dreamweaver or Notepad – since it's all text.
You'll need a sign-up page and the code behind it, and a login page and the code behind it. It's FAR too much code to post here.
You first need to know whether you're on a Windows server (ASP and MSSQL) or a Linux box (PHP and MySQL) – GoDaddy offers both and it was your choice when you signed up.
Then either look for a CMS with login and read the code to see how it's done, or do a web search for web login systems. (You WILL have to understand either ASP or PHP, SQL and, possibly, Javascript. You CAN NOT create a system like this with drag&drop and clicking buttons.)
Your only other option (other than having someone write it for you) is to look at CMS programs, and see if you can use one of them. There are running demos of free ASP and PHP CMS programs at http://opensourcecms.com/

Hi,
It depends what kind of site you are making. If you are making the simplest kind of site, just some static html pages then there is no need to purchase web hosting first, you will be able to view your site fine just in a web browser locally.
However if you are using any features such as MySQL databases, PHP, etc. then you will need a hosting account to be able to actually view your site properly.
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Darryl

You could use this to make sure the walls and floor of your house met exactly without overlapping, which is really useful for avoiding texture flicker at edges.
