You need to buy hosting with e-commerce option (for setting up web store / shopping cart) and a domain name (like yourwebsite.com).

I recommend one of these: http://www.webhostingtable.com/

Fatcow has the best offer right now, they have a limited time sale, hosting for $3.67/month ($44.00/year), and you get a free domain (like www.yourwebsite.com) from them.

They include easy, one click install of osCommerce.

From their site:
"osCommerce is an online shop e-commerce solution that offers a wide range of out-of-the-box features that allow online stores to be setup fairly quickly with ease. It is an e-commerce framework solution that not only remains easy to setup and maintain, but also makes it easier for store administrators to present their stores to their customers with their own unique requirements."

Some store samples:

i know there are so many choices. the web hosting market is so competitive. therefore you need to expect what kind of fighting going on for getting customer. don't worry about them but what you should really concern is how many domain you need for a short term maybe like for a year or two. about domain name some web hosting offer free domain for a year and even there are company offering free domain name for life and usually if you only continue to host with them. for web space one page of website average around 15-30 Kbs. so if you making a small biz website with 100 page then it needs 1.5 - 3 Mb of spaces. but if content has a lot of images then it would be more. so you figure out that first. a lot of big web hosting company are offering a lot of web space like 200-300G or 20000 - 30000 Mb but only allow one website to occupy that space. that plan is not for beginners but for biz already thriving and big. I suggest you find a hosting plan somewhere around USD3 - USD5 with web space around 500MB to 5 G with bandwidth somewhere around 50G - 200G and allowed 3-5 hosted domain(pay special attention on this when looking at the hosting plan - ask them if you can find that at their website) or multiple sites. it is enough for a startup biz. hope it helps.
check my profile if you need more info related to online biz.

I may not be as picky (mean that in a good way!) as you are because I definitely don't consider myself a "professional" compared to friends who have web design businesses, but we've been really happy with Host Excellence. ( http://www.hostexcellence.com/templates/he/v1/affiliate/clickthru.cgi?id=JTcaneel )

There are a ton of paid web hosts out there, and my husband and I exhausted ourselves researching them before making a decision to go with HostExcellence for this site and another one we run. Ultimately, it came down to the fact that we were getting tired and we liked HostExcellence's plans for mulitple domains and the fact that they had a site builder with tons of customizable templates (many of them do, but some of the good ones on the review lists don't). My husband doesn't use the site builder for his -- he does his own code. I use the site builder until I'm more proficient on Nvu. We also liked the amount of storage and bandwidth we were given, among other things. I haven't had a complaint yet, and we've been customers since October 2005. They have excellent 24/7 live chat support that helps me all the time with just about any issue you can imagine. Whenever a service has been down (which has only been a few times), it's either back up before I have a chance to ask about it or it's resolved before I get off live chat with them. They have a ton of tools at your service, we have more e-mails available than we'll ever use, and more bandwidth and storage space than we've come close to dipping into. They have ftp storage and a really easy thing called webshell that makes it pretty simple to do ftp stuff. Php boards, databases, etc. are all available. Good luck!
